New flexible i4F-developed wall locking system on show at Surfaces

  • Patented system added to i4F Wall & Ceiling Technologies cluster
  • Works with all materials with both screws on slats and glue on walls
  • Eliminates screw obtructions
  • Moisture and heat resistant

BOOTH 2437, SURFACES, LAS VEGAS, USA – i4F®, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry, today announced that it has developed a new, highly flexible installation system for locking wall panels.  On show with live demonstrations on the company’s Surfaces booth, the patented, i4F-developed system enables wall panels to be either screwed on to slats or glued against a wall.

An innovative aspect to i4F’s new wall system is the elimination of any obstructions caused by protruding screws. The system enables screws to be fastened into the locking completely flatly removing any protrusions that might hinder the installation of the next panel. The new system works on all materials and is moisture as well as heat resistant.

This latest innovation reinforces i4F’s innovation strategy by offering an ingenious flexible solution that makes the installation of wall panels easier than ever before and represents the latest addition to i4F’s Wall & Ceiling cluster of technologies.

i4F’s CEO, John Rietveldt, says, “This new innovation supports our vision to enhance where people live, work and play with ingenious technologies, from the floor upwards by offering a highly flexible, easy solution for end users. It also enables manufacturers to enter new markets as well as leverage their existing designs by launching expanded collections combining floors and walls.”
