i4F exhibiting at Domotex Hannover 2023; Domotex selects i4F Be-Lite® for its special ‘THE GREEN COLLECTION’ display

  • i4F Be-Lite presented at THE GREEN COLLECTION area – Hall 23, Stand A80

HAMONT, BELGIUM – i4F®, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry, today announced its participation at Domotex 2023 as an exhibitor (booth B15 in Hall 23). The company also said that its new sustainable savings process technology for SPC panels, i4F Be-Lite, has been selected by Domotex 2023 to be presented at its special ‘THE GREEN COLLECTION’ display area in Hall 23, A80.  i4F’s management team will be present for the duration of Domotex 2023, taking place January 12-15 in Hannover, Germany.

During Domotex 2023, i4F will showcase its cutting-edge solutions in the areas of drop-lock installation technologies, digital printing, surface finishing – including technologies imitating ceramic grouts, wall and ceiling installation systems, board and panel compositions as well as its latest sustainable manufacturing processes.

i4F Be-Lite® technology enables a significant reduction in the use of core SPC raw materials during the manufacturing process of decorative panels without compromising on performance. SPC panels produced using i4F Be-Lite are significantly lighter, making them a lot less expensive to produce and transport.  This significantly improves the flooring industry’s carbon footprint while remaining attractive to manufacturers by also delivering cost savings.

i4F AquaProtect is a high precision, resource saving impregnation technology that protects laminate-core HDF boards from water swell by up to 75%, thus increasing dramatically their overall water-resistance. The technology applies a hydrophobic impregnation agent, avoiding unnecessary overspray, and seals the joint edges of both V-grooved and non-V-Grooved laminate panels. Laminate treated with AquaProtect meets all recognized international laminate water-resistance standards and tests, including NALFA and ISO 4760.

THE GREEN COLLECTION display area at Domotex brings to life the significance of sustainability in the flooring industry, echoed by this year’s keynote theme “Floored by Nature”.  An independent jury, made up of experts, will select the best products/technologies presented in the area, recognizing the winners at a special award’s ceremony on January 12, 2023.

John Rietveldt, i4F’s CEO says, “We are delighted to kick-start the new year at Domotex! 2023 is going to be an exciting year – full of opportunities but, also, market challenges. Our focus continues to be on delivering ingenious and meaningful technologies that bring value to our licensees. With this in mind, we are deepening our sustainability drive with smart process technologies that meet the industry’s biggest market demands while protecting the future of our planet.”
