- i4F technologies on show include drop-lock Click4U Pro, CeraGrout, Be-Lite and AquaProtect
- All exclusively from i4F
HAMONT, BELGIUM – i4F®, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry, today announced that it is exhibiting at the BAU exhibition being held from April 17-22, 2023 in Münich, Germany. i4F’s booth, (#128, Hall A6) will serve as a platform to showcase i4F’s latest technologies, with a particular emphasis on fast and easy installation via i4F’s drop-lock system. Surface finishing technologies as well as new water-resistant and sustainable process innovations will also be highlighted. All technologies are exclusively available via an i4F license.
After more than four years of absence, BAU – the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems – is back and taking place on the grounds of Messe München (Trade Fair Center) spanning an area of 200,000 square meters. i4F joins over 2,200 other exhibitors from the construction industry, representing 49 countries.
i4F’s CeraGrout technology delivers highly realistic and beautifully integrated grout lines for flooring and wall panels that perfectly imitate traditional ceramics without the inconveniences. i4F CeraGrout enabled panels and tiles feature pre-attached, integrated grouts, available in any color, that are durable, more hygienic and much easier to install as well as replace.
i4F AquaProtect is a high precision, resource-saving impregnation technology that protects laminate-core HDF boards from water swell by up to 75%, thus increasing dramatically their overall water resistance. The technology applies a hydrophobic impregnation agent, avoiding unnecessary overspray, and seals the joint edges of both V-grooved and non-V-grooved laminate panels. Laminate treated with AquaProtect meets all recognized international laminate water-resistance standards and tests, including NALFA and ISO 4760.
i4F Be-Lite® technology enables a significant reduction in the use of core SPC raw materials during the manufacturing process of decorative panels without compromising on performance. SPC panels produced using i4F Be-Lite are significantly lighter, making them a lot less expensive to produce and transport. This significantly improves the flooring industry’s carbon footprint while remaining attractive to manufacturers by also delivering cost savings.
i4F’s other cutting-edge solutions in the areas of drop-lock installation technologies, digital printing, surface finishing, wall and ceiling installation systems, board and panel compositions, as well as manufacturing process technologies, will all be on show.
