i4F and Van Dijk Staircase Solutions announce cross-license agreement and European Stair Tread manufacturing partnership
Van Dijk appointed as i4F’s preferred European stair tread manufacturing partner
· i4F obtains sub-licensing rights for Van Dijk’s European Patent EP 2 526 241 B1 technology for LVT/SPC/WPC stair treads
· Agreement further strengthens i4F’s stair tread offerings in Europe
| TURNHOUT, BELGIUM – i4F®, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the global flooring industry, today announced that Van Dijk Staircase Solutions has signed an i4F stair tread technologies license agreement and will serve as i4F’s preferred European stair tread manufacturing partner. Additionally, Van Dijk has granted i4F the right to sublicense its European Patent EP 2 526 241 B1 to i4F Stair Tread technologies licensees. This expands and further strengthens i4F’s existing stair tread technologies patent portfolio, providing licensees with additional freedom to operate when manufacturing and/or selling stair tread products. Specialized in staircase renovation across Europe for more than thirty years, Van Dijk is the manufacturing company of StairCampus in Weert, the Netherlands. Entirely dedicated to stairs, the StairCampus combines manufacturing, R&D, circular material recovery, reuse and recycling activities, creating one of Europe’s most specialized ecosystems focused exclusively on stairs. |
| As i4F’s preferred European stair tread manufacturing partner, i4F stair tread technologies customers can choose to have stair treads produced and folded by Van Dijk to match their floor and wall panel ranges. i4F will actively promote Van Dijk’s expertise and manufacturing capabilities to European retailers, distributors and decorative panel producers to support demand creation and accelerate the commercialization of innovative stair tread solutions. |
