Koen’s first year of being a professional golf player, had not been without challenges. Now fully recovered from wrist surgery, Koen is swinging back into this year’s golf season and determined to make it count!
By making the cut at The Dutch Open, Koen has us on the edge of our seat again. Unfortunately, he didn’t end up as the winner of the tournament but the year isn’t over yet.
Koen has already played in the following tournaments:
- Challenge tour (2nd highest level in Europe) in Denmark / 17-20 August
- Challenge tour in The Netherlands / 26 – 29 August
- Tournament in de 3rd Level in Europe at the Gelpenberg / 2-4 sep
- Challenge tour in Germany / 9 – 12 September
- Dutch open (At Bernardus Golf, European tour event) / 16 – 19 September
Coming up:
- Korn ferry tour 1st stage (1 of 3 stages) in Florida / 28 Sep – 1 Okt in Florida. Goal: to get a Korn ferry tour status for next year (Korn ferry tour is 2nd highest in the US)
- (possbily) Korn ferry tour 2nd stage in Florida / 19 – 22 Oktober
- (possibly) Korn ferry tour final/3rd stage in Georgia / 4 – 7 November
