–Focus on easy to install, water-resistant tech for SPC, laminate, wood and real ceramics
TURNHOUT, BELGIUM – i4F®, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry, today announced that it is exhibiting at the BAU 2025 (Hall A6, Booth 139), taking place January 13-17 at the Trade Fair Centre Messe Munich, Germany. i4F’s management team will be on-site for the duration of the exhibition. BAU, is a world leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, bringing together the international building community, including planners, constructors, designers, architects, investors as well as representatives from industrial and commercial sectors.
This year, i4F’s showcase places emphasis on the needs of professionals as well as high consumer demand for super-easy, water-resistant technologies on a variety of materials. These features consistently emerge as essential considerations during home improvement purchase decisions.
Making its European debut is the company’s breakthrough i4F HerrringB/ONE – a new intuitive installation technology, featuring one universal drop-lock mechanism on all herringbone panels. The technology eliminates the need for mirroring A and B panels and meets the demand for easy and fast installation. i4F HerringB/ONE also reduces waste as well as streamlines manufacturing and unified packaging, representing a significant advantage for retail and distribution.
Also, on show are i4F’s latest innovations in versatile, water-resistant, easy to install DIY friendly solutions for WPC and SPC based ceramic look alternatives via its i4F CeraGrout® technology as well as traditional ceramics.
i4F Ceramic Click takes all the benefits of a floating, modular floor and combines it with the beauty and strength of real ceramics by delivering an easy click installation system for floating ceramic tiles enhanced with an i4F drop-lock system. Consumers can save on installation costs by doing it themselves and professionals are able to install more floors per day.
John Rietveldt, i4F’s CEO, comments, “BAU is the perfect platform for i4F to demonstrate how its technologies create significant value for manufacturers and empower retailers to stay ahead of market trends. Designed for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts, they feature water resistance, easy installation, and premium quality. Whether it’s herringbone, ceramic-look SPC panels, or traditional ceramics, the result is always a high-performance, stylish finish that anyone can achieve.”
